Women's Post Election Rage Release

Thin. Small. Silent. Abused. Disconnected. Performing...

Labeled: "sensitive," "dramatic," "exaggerating," or a "b!tch."

In a patriarchal world, women have countless reasons to be justifiably angry. Yet, society has taught us to suppress that anger to please a world which capitalizes off of our obedience and silence. Watching a known rapist, who openly supports a national abortion ban, be elected to the highest position of power in this country was a heart-breaking reminder of the reality of being a woman in this country.

The truth is, anger is a valid defensive emotion in response to abuse. And as a valid emotion, it needs to be actively moved through the body, so that we do not have to carry all of this heaviness in our bodies every day. Safe space for women to actively feel our anger in empowering ways is essential right now because embodiment of righteous anger becomes power for change. We can choose for our anger to not come out in reactive, villified ways, but to instead be intentionally channeled.

You brilliant, powerful woman - You are seen. You are valid in your anger and grief. And you do not need to hold it alone. We are in this together. The intention behind this space is to give women permission to actually feel the anger which has come up for so many of us with the recent election.

In this practice, we will be moving through somatic trauma release practices, including shaking, twerking, and punching - with an invitation to fully unleash the wild woman within. We give our anger safe space to be expressed. We give our grief a voice. We unite in community to channel the fire to activism.

This is a trauma-informed container for dark feminine embodiment in which we will share tangible tools for moving anger through the body in a safe way which cultivates the resiliency of the nervous system. Authentic full spectrum feminine expression, from screaming to crying, is deeply deeply welcomed and honored in this space. Please bring all of you - all of your heart, your emotions, your softness, and your fire.

Facilitator Bio:

Nikka Gribanovsky is a Feminine Pleasure Coach (IG: @yourpleasurefairy) who helps women restore a sense of safety in their bodies after trauma and guides them in stepping into their liberated sexual expression. Nikka is a certified tantric yoga instructor, compassion-focused coaching practitioner, and health-informed sex educator with four years of experience leading femme beings towards bodily reclamation and sexual sovereignty via tantra and somatic therapy. She has additional training in Buddhist psychology, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed yoga. Nikka has spent the last four years traveling the globe to places like Thailand, India, and Mexico learning, as well as facilitating, embodiment practices. She leads clients through workshops, retreats, and 1:1 coaching containers based on a curriculum she designed. She is extremely excited to bring this work to the US!
