Then, we’ll head out for a guided walk to apply what you’ve learned in real time. Whether you’re using a smartphone, DSLR, or mirrorless camera, you’ll leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for the art of nature photography. The class will examine pro's/con's of straight line routes and compare optional routes and decisionmaking, study different map types like orienteering maps used in national competitions to learn about the level of detail that orienteer-ers use for their forest running. We will look at adventure racing and rogaine maps as well. The group will then split up into smaller groups at the permanent orienteering course available on site, discuss how it is different from the maps we looked at, and find several of the markers. After the orienteering attempt, we'll discuss how it went / route choices back at the session space. It is COO's hope that this ends up being a session that encourages everyone to go try orienteering ASAP! Instructor: Central Ohio Orienteers

Tai Chi: In traditional Chinese medicine the term chi (pronounced "chee") translates to life force energy. The ancient practices of Tai Chi and Qi Gong are comprised of movements that serve to re-establish and maintain the flow of chi/qi (pronounced the same way) through the meridians in the body. This energetic flow, like a river, can become stagnant or even blocked resulting in less than optimal health and well being. The exercises (or flows) are very slow moving and gentle, and open up the flow of life force energy. The movements mimic the natural world. They are repetitive, fun, and easy to learn. Join us at IMP surrounded with the sights and sounds of the natural world for this moving meditation. Instructor: Dayle Huffman
Yoga: Participants will use breath to guide them through poses increasing strength, flexibility and energy while decreasing stress, self judgment, and mindless chatter. Classes incorporate ways to find a balance of effort and ease. Instructor: Mary Beth Sassen
