Don't know where to start or what an Open Mat is? The first 30 minutes of this event are for you!! Our BJJ Fundamentals Mini Class will give you some basic concepts of how to move, which way to go, where to put your arms, where NOT to put them, and more!
This open mat is a space for women to train without pressure, ego, or performative nonsense. Come move, drill, roll, ask questions, troubleshoot techniques, or work through areas where you want more confidence. No forced curriculum. No whistle. No clock anxiety.
What’s the intent of an open mat?
An open mat exists so you can explore skills at your own pace. You decide what you work on. You control the intensity. It’s where techniques get refined, confidence gets built, and real learning happens through repetition, problem-solving, and honest feedback.
This is beginner-friendly and experienced-practitioner approved.
