Women's New Moon Monthly Circles: Cacao, Connection, Song, Authenticity Dear Sisters,
Add all the dates on poster in to your calendar! Receive & bring the support you desire. What will a year of monthly ceremony awaken in us all.
We also offer Sisters and Brothers circles to unite the community once again around the Full Moon time - updates on Awakened Bear Facebook page.
In this 2024 cycle of Women's Sacred Circle, we deepen our connection to ourselves, to cycles, each other and all life with the support of the New/Dark Moon.
Twelve to thirteen times a year the Dark Moon gives us an opportunity to dive inside to those more hidden places to see what needs to be seen in order for us to re-member and even befriend all parts of ourselves.
When we reclaim ourselves, we uncover our gifts, connect to others on a much deeper and authentic level. Our intuition becomes activated and available to us, and, we gain the confidence of knowing who we are and that we have a place here on this great planet.
And so, the invitation is for us to gather with other women/sisters in a ceremonial way around the sacred altar of life.
Together, sit in circle, we go within, in community as we learn and share healing medicine songs (song book provided) and connect authentically with women who are along their illuminated path.

About the Songs:
We express our united hearts, the heart of all, through our voices and offer/receive the blessings healing medicine songs of various lineages, cultures and traditions. You are welcome to bring a heart song that you feel called to lead the group to sing together.
We will open and close the circle together with guided grounding practices, silence and/or meditation. We will open the circle for authentic sharing to help integrate & embody any inner shift.

What to bring:
- Anything you need to be comfortable, cushion, comfy clothing .. we have a lot of blankets, cushions & sheep furs.
- musical instruments (hand drum, rattle, guitar, etc...)
- your favorite cup/small cacao mug (we also have some)
- a journal if that feels supportive
These circles have a shape of their own and each one of us brings a special sweetness or medicine that makes each gathering unique.
There will be women of various ages and stages. This is welcomed and celebrated as together we bring our unique perspective. You can bring your teenage daughters, mothers, sisters, aunties, besties and most graciously, your grandmothers. Merci πŸ™πŸΌ

About your host:
Christine Bear Lamothe has been holding the sacred circle since 1997 when she started teaching girls break dance classes. Many circles have been formed since then, throughout the places she’s lived… Ottawa, Montreal, France and Nunavut and now back to Ottawa!
Christine is steeped in shamanic studies, mainly through her Celtic lineage with Avalon Mysteries, as well as a number of other cosmologies from Latin America and observatory and experiential wisdom gained from her 11 years among the Inuit of Nunavut.
Christine is a Massage Therapist, ceremonialist, dancer, teacher and light worker. She is currently deepening her studies in Earth Based Spirituality; specifically through the Avalon Middleworld Druidic lineage. She also works with Plant Medicine allies; both medicinal and psychoactive.
Christine lives with and cares for her greatest shamanic teacher, Lise, her adoptive mother who has lived through the lens of what is called schizophrenia all of her life.
Christine Bear Lamothe lives authentically and passionately and helps opens the door for others to do the same!
