About this Event
Remember those "polite" tea parties where women sipped quietly and smiled demurely? Well, we're doing things a little differently at our Women's History Month High Tea! Join us at the fabulous Belva Lockwood Inn on March 23, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 PM for an afternoon of delicious treats, fascinating stories, and maybe just a little revolutionary spirit.
We'll be indulging in a delightful luncheon consissting of a seasonal soup and garden salad, dainty tea sandwiches, and a veritable mountain of pastries, baked goods, and desserts fit for a suffragist queen (or at least, a woman who appreciates a good tart). All this deliciousness for just $40 per guest!
But this isn't just about the scones (though they are amazing). We'll be diving into the incredible stories of Belva Lockwood herself, a true trailblazer, and other remarkable women from Tioga County who dared to defy expectations and make their mark on the world. Think of it as a history lesson disguised as a delightful afternoon tea – a chance to celebrate the women who paved the way for us, all while enjoying some seriously scrumptious food.
So, gather your girlfriends, and prepare to be inspired. This is one tea party you won't want to miss! It's time to raise a glass (or teacup!) to the women who changed the world, one brilliant idea and bold act at a time. After all, every great movement starts with a gathering of like-minded women...and maybe a few delicious pastries.
(Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!)

Our high tea is designed for a social experience with family-style seating. This means that even if you purchase a single ticket, you'll be seated at a table with other guests, making it a great opportunity to meet new people! If you're coming with a group and purchased tickets separately, please reply to your confirmation email listing all members of your party so we can try our best to seat you together. We also want to be sure everyone can enjoy our treats, so please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
