Join Club Seattle Runners Division and New Balance in celebrating Women’s History Month on Sunday March 16th with a community run and a self-defense workshop at REI Seattle.
10am - Run/Walk: Open to all genders, this group run will have dedicated pace leaders to ensure a welcoming experience for all. Whether you’re running a 9-minute mile, 13+ minute pace, or walking —there’s a pace and welcoming face for you.
11:30am - Self-Defense Workshop: After the run, women are invited to participate in a self-defense class lead by Joanne Factor of designed to empower and equip you with essential self-defense skills. Space is limited, so you must RSVP for the workshop through Eventbrite. Refreshments from Poppi provided.
Make an impact for young girls: Not required, but we welcome donations to , a local nonprofit with National impact that provides sports bras and educational resources to young athletes, helping them stay active and confident.
