Browse through a selection of women's history materials at your own pace, with staff on hand to answer any questions. Whether you're a newcomer to archives or a seasoned researcher, these laid-back events offer a great opportunity to explore our collections in an informal setting.
What to expect:
- A talk by Shelia Rowbotham about her latest book "Reasons to Rebel: My Memories of the 1980's"starting at 6pm
- Women's history archives on display including a selection of Shelia Rowbotham's archive
- Interpretation about the archives for you to learn more about what you see
- Staff nearby for chats about the archives or to answer your questions about using archives in teaching, research, creative practice or personal interest.
- At 5pm, an opportunity for a short behind-the-scenes tour of the stores for a general introduction to the collections. *limited to 10 people on a first-come, first-served basis
