Celebrate Women's History Month with Lehigh Valley Public Media's new documentary, "Moravian Women In Early America," telling the story of women’s unique roles in the Moravian Church from its founding in 1722, through its settlement of Bethlehem in 1741, aiding in the American Revolution in 1776, to the present day.
After the film, hear from local historians about the uniqueness of this culture and its influence. In addition to showing the film, we will highlight local organizations and creators that are inspired by the Moravians, particularly those of women.
