Sisters Keeping the Covenant, founded in 2004 by Rev. Dr. Maxine Thomas, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry dedicated to promoting healing, wholeness, and wellness for women and teen girls. Through transformative initiatives such as the Women’s General Assemblies, Women’s Empowerment Summit, My Sister’s Keeper Bible and Leadership Academy, and the Tea Talk with Dr. Maxi Podcast, the ministry has impacted thousands of lives through dynamic preaching, teaching, writing, and innovative outreach.
Rev. Dr. Maxine Thomas serves as Co-Pastor of St. Andrew AME Church in Memphis, Tennessee, alongside her husband, Rev. Troy I. Thomas, Senior Pastor. A passionate servant leader, Co-Pastor Maxine is deeply committed to advancing God’s kingdom by equipping, empowering, and uplifting His people with love, wisdom, and unwavering faith.
