Learn to be confident in the Backcountry and become an independent and bad-ass backpacker. Here's whats included:
-Setting up camp, cooking,
-backcountry etiquette & safety essentials,
- basic navigation,
-food and hydration,
-common 1st aid issues,
-bathroom & hygiene,
-gear and clothing how to stay dry and warm.
-ACMG Guide hike to location and out, advanced wilderness first Aid medic/ Nurse, pre-trip Q&A session, trip planning support, gear lists and packing strategies, group emergency essentials and response plan.
-PDF of basic lists and course materials pre-trip
-Campsite fees, Park permits, wilderness overnight fees/passes if applicable
-Surprise take home gift
-Hiking/ backpacking safety & Outdoor Education session
Not included:
-Travel to and from trailhead **Parks Canada Discovery Pass if neccessary**
-Meals, snacks, hydration

-Trip cancellation, medical insurance, additional costs incurred if changes are made to itinerary

Guided Trip Cancellation and Refund Policies
1. Refunds will always be issued if there are new government legislated travel restrictions put into place that cause you to not be able to travel to our destination or if the government shuts us down due to COVID. We will offer you a credit towards the next years trips or a refund minus our processing fee.
2. All refunds will have a deduction of a 10% transaction processing fee.
3. If you need to cancel a booking for any reason, you have up to 21 days before your trip to cancel and you will receive a 90% refund.
4. If you cancel after the 21 days prior to the departure date, we will try to fill your spot with someone from the waitlist but if this fails you will not receive a refund.
5. In the case of a medical emergency ( COVID included) within the 21 day window, you can receive a 60% refund or a full credit towards our expeditions in 2022. A Doctor’s note or relevant documentation is required.
6. If you have a trip that you would like to book but find it is unavailable on the booking platform, please contact us and we will be happy to assist or put you on a waitlist.
