Whether you love local history or are curious to try something new, this event is the perfect chance to get hands-on and discover new stories right here in Croydon. Be part of this once in a lifetime experience at your local park right here in Addiscombe!
Why women only?
This event is run by AOC, a women-led archaeology team for women and girls only to ensure a safe space as a key audience as part of our project. The Ashburton Park restoration project is ensuring that women and girls feel safe, included and can thrive in parks and green spaces in Croydon and so they are also better reprsented in local history and routes into archaeology and nature conservation.
