There are women in every community who quietly hold others through life’s most tender and transformative seasons, menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, motherhood, grief, and menopause.
Women Who Hold Women is a community gathering created to bring these practitioners together in one place while opening the doors to the women and families they serve.
Join us for a nourishing open house where you can meet local birthworkers, bodyworkers, therapists, and women’s health practitioners supporting women across every season of life.
Whether you are navigating a transition in your own life, preparing for motherhood, moving through perimenopause, or simply curious about the many ways women support one another in community, you are warmly welcome.
🌿 The first 20 guests will receive a special gift bag from participating practitioners.
Come by, meet the practitioners, and experience the sanctuary space on the Wappinger Creek.

Why This Gathering Matters
Across generations, women have gathered in community to share wisdom, support one another through life’s transitions, and care for the body, mind, and spirit.
In modern life, many of these connections have become fragmented. Women navigating menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, perimenopause, menopause, grief, and other life transitions often find themselves searching for support without knowing where to begin.
Women Who Hold Women was created to bring together the practitioners in our region who are devoted to supporting women and families through these seasons of life. By gathering in one space, we create an opportunity for connection, collaboration, and community care.
This event is also a way for women and families to discover the many resources available locally and to meet the practitioners who are walking alongside them on their journeys.
Who This Gathering Is For
This open house is for women and families who are seeking support, connection, and community.
You may feel called to attend if you are:
🌿 Preparing for pregnancy, birth, or postpartum
🌿 Navigating menstruation, fertility, or reproductive health
🌿 Moving through perimenopause or menopause
🌿 Seeking body-based or holistic care
🌿 Curious about local practitioners supporting women’s health and well-being
🌿 Simply longing for connection with other women in your community
This gathering is welcoming to all women and those who identify within the spectrum of womanhood, including LGBTQ+ individuals who feel aligned with this space.
Families and partners are also welcome to attend and learn about the many ways women are supported through life’s transitions.
The Story Behind Women Who Hold Women
Over the years of holding space for women at Rising Earth Healing Arts, I’ve come to see how many practitioners in our community are quietly supporting women through life’s most meaningful transitions such as menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, motherhood, and menopause.
Often, these practitioners work in separate spaces and circles, even though we are all part of the same continuum of care.
Women Who Hold Women was created as a way to bring these women together in widening the web and to strengthen connections among practitioners while also opening the doors to the wider community.
My prayer is that this gathering allows women and families to meet the people who are devoted to this work, to discover the support available to them locally, and to experience the sense of community that can arise when we come together in service to life.
At its heart, this event is about remembering something simple and powerful: women have always gathered to care for one another.
