About this Event

In honor of Women’s History Month, join us March 14 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM at San Diego Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hosted in collaboration with Alliance Carlsbad, for a FREE Women’s Jiu-Jitsu Seminar + Open Mat benefiting The Groundwork Foundation. This event celebrates the impact of women in Jiu-Jitsu by encouraging cross-training, learning from high-level female black belts, and creating a safe, welcoming space to train—while supporting a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth and communities through Jiu-Jitsu.

• Seminar and open mat taught by Karolina Vorgeas and Lauren Rojas

• Open to women from all academies | All levels welcome (ages 15+)

• Raffle with all proceeds benefiting The Groundwork Foundation

• Gi donations welcome (kids’, women’s, and men’s)

• Family-friendly event with supervised childcare available (ages 3+)
