This special presentation will feature historian Dr. Christine E. Sears, Associate Professor of History at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Her talk, “Nearly Naked: Betsey Bonaparte and Female Threats to the Early American Republic,” examines how one woman challenged societal expectations and sparked national conversation.
This program invites attendees to reflect on how historical perspectives continue to shape modern views on women, identity, and public life.
