This month we will hear from Amita Krishna, Associate Director of Customised Programmes at AMBS.
Amita is a senior executive with 38 years’ experience in driving business success through strategic transformation initiatives anchored in customer experience management.
Born in Uganda, Amita came to the UK in 1972 as her family fled persecution from Idi Amins senseless 90-day decree of banishing Asians. After spending time in UK refugee camps, she was brought up in Bath and commenced her career in business and finance in London.
In 2001, she expanded her business consultancy practice to the emerging markets of Asia, splitting her time between her Malaysian and UK offices and homes.
Her strengths lie in turnaround and international expansion, underpinned by her experience across government, industry, and academia, she has delivered programmes in 30 countries. Driven by her core value of enabling individuals to be the best that they can be, she coaches and mentors senior leaders and business owners. She currently directs and manages a range of customised programmes at AMBS.
She is a regular speaker at international events and is a Trustee of a UN Youth Charity. Having moved back to the UK in 2018, she cherishes her life in the small village of Bray, Berkshire spending time on the Thames cooking and feeding family and friends. She loves the theatre, music, works hard and plays hard.
