About this Event

Across the North Shore, women are leading change every day — in business, in philanthropy, in community, and in the lives of the people around them.

Women Leading Change on the North Shore is a fundraising event that brings together women who believe in the power of leadership, generosity, and collective action.

Through an inspiring panel of female leaders, guests will hear stories of courage, influence, and impact, and explore what becomes possible when women use their voice, resources, and networks to create meaningful change close to home.

Funds raised will support Hollyburn Community Services Society’s Survivor Safe Fund, a rapid-response fund that helps survivors fleeing abuse and violence access the immediate support they need to reach safety.

For many survivors, the path to safety begins with one critical moment — and the support to act on it. This fund helps provide:

  • Safe transportation
Helping survivors leave unsafe situations quickly and safely.
  • Emergency accommodation
Providing a secure place to stay when returning home is not an option.
  • Essential needs
Supporting access to food, clothing, personal items, and the basics needed to begin again.

Created in honour of Susan Wilcockson, the Survivor Safety Fund carries forward her legacy of compassion, care, and unwavering dedication to survivors of violence across the North Shore.

Join us for a powerful morning of leadership, connection, and women-led impact on the North Shore.

When women stand together, they do more than raise funds, they open doors, remove barriers, and create pathways to safety, dignity, and independence.
