About this Event
Please join us on Wednesday, 4 December at 7.45am in our office to hear trustees Alicia Russell and Trina Dickson share Pānui Mai’s mission and how it has empowered Kiwi children, allowing them to discover the magic that books can offer.
This event aims to increase the awareness of how Pānui Mai, Read to Me contributes to our community. Funds raised will go towards purchasing Wardini Books vouchers for each student at end of the 2025 programme, along with kids’ packs with a few stationery items for tamariki to use during their reading sessions.
Additionally raffle tickets will be available for you to purchase before or at the event. Goodies up for grabs are:
- Knight by Light: Annie Knight is a local Hawke’s Bay family photographer and Pānui Mai reading volunteer. She has generously donated a family photo session (worth $570). Details of the raffle can be found here.
- Signed books from author Charity Norman.
Please be sure to register for this informative and fun networking event, which will include coffee, tea and a bite to eat. A $15 donation will be collected at registration for each attendee and raffle tickets will be available for $5 each or four for $15.
An eftpos machine, kindly provided by ANZ, will be available on the day to purchase raffle tickets.
