For generations, women have gathered in forests to connect with nature, share wisdom, and harness the healing power of the earth. From medicine women and foragers to shamans and healers, women have always been deeply rooted in the rhythms of the land.
Women in the Woods invites you to step into this ancient tradition with a powerful woodland retreat designed to awaken your senses and reconnect you with the wild.
🔥 Through the elemental energy of fire and the pulse of handmade drums.
🌿 Through forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) and deep ecological awareness
🎶 Through sound healing and shared expression,
you’ll return to nature and to yourself.
What to Expect:
🌳 Explore the forest, take part in a drum circle, forest bathing and develop practical wilderness skills:
Learn to identify useful trees and plants
Forage for natural tinder and fuel
Practice fire-lighting techniques
Build simple shelters and deepen your understanding of woodland ecology
🎵 As dusk falls, we’ll gather in an evening drum circle around the communal fire, drumming, sharing and celebrating the power of creative expression in a supportive sisterhood.
No prior experience in bushcraft or drumming is needed.
Just bring an open heart, a sense of adventure and a willingness to immerse yourself in the elements.
🛖 Tarps will be provided for shelter-building, offering a raw and authentic forest sleepout. Tents are welcome for those who prefer comfort, but many are drawn to sleep beneath the canopy.
🥁 Drums are provided, and personal percussion instruments, poetry, chants or creative offerings are joyfully welcomed.
👣 Led by experienced female guides, this is more than a camp out, it's a journey into the wild heart of womanhood.
