In its fifth season we're spotlighting Volunteers of America Texas and the life-changing programs that empower women. This year, we’re not just honoring one woman—we’re celebrating the incredible achievements of three exceptional women who have demonstrated outstanding success and leadership in family, business, and philanthropy.
Join us as we recognize:
Colleen Frost – Originally from Rochester, New York, Colleen has called Texas home since 1997. Alongside her husband, Todd, she has built one of the top real estate brokerage firms in Collin County. With a background in criminal justice and experience as a paralegal, Colleen's journey took a remarkable turn when she entered the real estate industry in 2011. In 2017, she and Todd opened Colleen Frost, Realtors®, and today, Colleen is a consistent multi-million-dollar producer and a top agent in Collin County.
Danette Anthony Reed – Serving as the International President & CEO of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Danette leads an organization with 360,000 initiated members. A retired PepsiCo executive and the first engineer to serve as the sorority's Chief Executive Officer, Danette has made history as the first African American woman Plant Director for Frito-Lay. Her professional achievements are matched by her commitment to service through organizations like the United Negro College Fund.
Marsha Clark – An executive coach and independent consultant who founded her own company in 2000, Marsha has garnered international acclaim for her dedication to empowering women. Her 12-month program, The Power of Self, helps women gain greater personal clarity and make deliberate life choices. Marsha's extensive experience in leadership development and conflict resolution makes her a sought-after keynote speaker and advocate for women's leadership.
These extraordinary women have not only made significant contributions in their respective fields but have also inspired countless others to follow in their footsteps. The Women in Play event is your chance to hear their stories, celebrate their accomplishments, and be part of an evening that honors women for their leadership, resilience, and community impact.
