Fringe Orchestra, the annual crossover orchestra project of Conservatorium Maastricht, takes you through the Women in Jazz series, featuring the most notable female jazz soloists as well as composers in the lead. Composed of top students and alumni of the academy of music, each edition is tailor-made for a new guest soloist. This is done under the direction of artistic director Jesse Passenier, who both conducts the formation and arranges for it.
