Women in Interconnection Master Class 2026

The Women in Interconnection (WIC) network will hold the first session of its 2026 Masterclass Series on 26 February 2026 at FTI Consulting, 200 Aldersgate Street, London.

This inaugural masterclass focuses on the Economics of Interconnectors, offering attendees an expert-led deep dive into the commercial, regulatory, and economic fundamentals shaping interconnector projects.

• 12:00 PM – Arrival, registration, and lunch
• 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Presentation by Martina Lindovska (FTI Consulting), followed by a group discussion

The masterclass will explore key aspects of interconnector development, including:

• How interconnectors generate revenue
• Investment risks and commercial considerations
• Supporting regulatory frameworks
• How regulators assess the broader economic impacts of interconnectors

Martina Lindovska, Managing Director in Economic and Financial Consulting at FTI Consulting, brings over 16 years of experience in the energy and utilities sector. She has advised on nearly 20 interconnector and multi‑purpose interconnector projects across the UK, Europe, and Australia. Her expertise spans:

• Revenue forecasting
• Cost–benefit analysis
• Policy and regulatory design
• Commercial advisory for investors, transmission owners, developers, and regulators

Founded in 2024, the Women in Interconnection forum has quickly grown to a network of 170 women across the interconnection industry. WIC offers a platform for connection, collaboration, and professional support, with a growing schedule of industry-focused events and learning opportunities.
