Women in Boatbuilding Christmas Gathering 2024

Welcome to our annual Christmas Gathering for women in boatbuilding! Join us at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for a day of celebration, networking, and fun....whilst learning about the amazing women and work they're doing onboard HMS Victory and Warrior.

We have organsied a private tour of the Victory STB scaffolding with the Shipwrights working on her. Followed by HMS Warrior deck tour: A walkthrough of the ship’s deck, featuring presentations by Rachel on the work done by Historic Ship team, and rigging activity led by Connie and Dinnie.

After lunch, we will go to Boathouse 4, and tour the SHE_SEES Exhibition, with further networking and open discussions in the classrooom.

This event is a great opportunity to build relationships, exchange ideas, and support each other in the boatbuilding community. We can't wait to see you there!
