GREECE is known as the civilisation that it known from INVENTING DEMOCRACY, and the DEVELOPMENT OF PHILOSOPHY, ART, ARCHITECTURE and CULTURE. However, it was a MAN’S WORLD. Women in ancient Greece did not have a chance to participate in any of these events. However, SOME WOMEN STILL TRIED TO MAKE THEIR MARK. In this talk we shall look at THE ROLE OF GREEK WOMEN IN SOCIETY.
