About this Event
Event Description
Working in Human Resources / People & Culture means you're always the person others turn to. You're the one holding space for hard conversations, advocating for people behind closed doors, and constantly walking the tightrope between championing your people and serving the needs of the business — often without anyone asking how you're doing.
This meet-up is for the women who do that work. Not to talk shop, solve problems, or swap best practices — but to actually exhale. To sit across from other women who understand the unique tension of that role and the weight it quietly carries.
This is not therapy, or coaching. And it's not about "fixing" anything. Just honest conversations with women who get it.
This is also not a networking event in the traditional sense. While connection is the point, this is not a space to sell your services, find vendors, or pitch your programs. The focus is on being present, listening, and connecting as people — not as titles.

About the Host
Hi, I'm Brianna! I've spent almost 10 years working in People & Culture, and if there's one thing I know, it's that the people who take care of everyone else often have the least space to be taken care of themselves.
I say that as someone who has dedicated her career to building workplaces where people feel seen, supported, and valued — and who has also felt the quiet isolation that can come with this work. HR can be a lonely seat. We hold confidences, navigate hard conversations, and carry things we can't always share, often without a real outlet for how we're doing.
That's why I'm co-hosting this event (alongside our CEO, Sophie!): to create a space where women in this field can set down the professional armor for a couple of hours, connect honestly with others who truly get it, and be reminded that we don't have to carry it all alone.
