Driving Directions to the University of the District of Columbia – Van Ness Campus


FROM MARYLAND:

• Take I-495N to exit 33 for MD-185/Connecticut Avenue toward Kensington/Chevy Chase

• Turn left onto MD-185 South / Connecticut Avenue – proceed approx. 2.75 miles

• At Chevy Chase circle at the MD / DC line, enter / exit circle on Connecticut Avenue, NW

• Continue straight (South) on Connecticut Avenue, NW – proceed approx. 1.85 miles

• Turn right onto Van Ness Street, NW

• Turn right at the main entrance and into parking garage to your left


FROM DOWNTOWN DC:

• Go East on Massachusetts Avenue, NW towards Dupont Circle

• At Dupont Circle – turn into Circle – stay to your right and “exit” Circle at Connecticut Avenue, NW

• Continue straight on Connecticut Avenue, NW

• Stay to your left – at Columbia Road, NW - passing the Washington Hilton to your right

• Continue straight on Connecticut Avenue, NW

• Turn left onto Van Ness Street, NW

• Turn right at the main entrance and into parking garage to your left


FROM VIRGINIA:

• Take I-395 N

• Take exit 8B for Virginia 27/Washington Boulevard toward Rosslyn

• Merge onto VA-27 E/S Washington Boulevard

• Slight left onto Washington Boulevard

• Slight right onto Memorial Circle

• Continue onto Arlington Memorial Bridge – crossing into Washington, DC

• Slight right toward Ohio Drive, SW

• Take the ramp to Rock Creek Parkway / John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

• Merge onto Ohio Drive, SW

• Slight left toward Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway

• Keep left and continue on Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway

• Continue onto Beach Drive, NW/ Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway

• Keep left to continue on Rock Creek Pkwy NW/Shoreham Drive, NW

• Follow Cathedral Avenue, NW to Connecticut Avenue, NW

• Slight right at Rock Creek Park Trails

• Slight right onto Cathedral Avenue, NW

• Turn right onto Connecticut Avenue, NW

• Turn left onto Van Ness Street, NW

• Turn right at the main entrance and into parking garage to your left
