About this Event
WOMEN CIRCLE: LEARNING TOGETHER (Local Moms)
If you’re a mom who’s ever thought: “I should understand money… but where do I even start?” — this is for you. 💚
We meet weekly rain and shine, learn together, ask questions, and support each other while focusing on:
- Simple budgeting habits (practical, realistic for moms)
- Money organization basics (track, plan, reduce stress)
- Self-empowerment routines (confidence + consistency)
- Navigating motherhood and work (real-life planning when kids are little)
- Money terms explained in plain language (so it’s not scary)
- Family benefits & programs in Canada (general education + staying organized)
- Protection planning awareness (foundation-first, family-focused)
This is a study + accountability meetup, not a lecture. We learn together, ask questions, and support each other. Our main meetup home is Café Divano, and for anyone who wants extra focus time, we’ll also add optional library study sessions (quiet, distraction-free).
What to expect
✅ Friendly, beginner-level learning
✅ A calm, supportive group atmosphere
✅ Step-by-step discussion
✅ Time to chat and mingle, make new Momma friends
✅ Community + motivation (because doing it alone is hard)
Why I’m doing this
I’m a mom of two wonderful kids. For a long time, I believed our family system would stay the same—me focused on the children, and my ex-husband focused on income. When divorce happened, it forced me to learn finances quickly and seriously..
I know how it feels to be stuck in the nonstop cycle—kids, errands, responsibilities—while money feels like a scary “adult topic” you never had time to learn. I used to be afraid to even look at my bank account. Budgeting, planning ahead, and financial terms honestly gave me anxiety.
Many families go through major changes, and when they do, financial stability becomes non-negotiable—especially with young kids. My goal now is to build a community where moms can learn the basics step by step, gain confidence with money, and create flexible ways to earn.
And I want to be honest: as an artist and a busy mom, I’m also doing these meetups to keep myself accountable and consistent. I need this support group too—so we’re building it together. 💚
So if you’re also
- a stay-at-home mom (or recently back to work)
- newly separated/divorced
- rebuilding stability
- or simply someone who feels “money fear” (very common!)
…come join us. It’s easier when we learn as a pack. 🌿💓🌱
Optional: for moms who want to go deeper
Some moms may want to take this learning further and explore a licensing/certification path for flexible income in the future. If that’s you, I’m happy to share details privately 1:1 (no pressure, by request only). Just DM me and we can chat after the meetup.
🍪 Cookies and studying together guaranteed.
