Simple, effective skills for healing post birth scars.

5 day intensive. Accommodation available on site.

For all women, midwives, doulas, childbirth educators, body workers, physiotherapists.

A workshop that gives all the information on in-depth pelvic anatomy, the effects of post birth scar tissue and provides effective healing strategies for individuals and practitioners.


From this training, you will :

Come away with in-depth hands-on skills and knowledge for dealing with postbirth scars.

Learn the anatomy of scar tissue and it’s potential affects on pelvic anatomy and effects of prolapse and incontinence.

How to provide comprehensive support and healing for:

C section

Episiotomy

Vaginal scars

Prolapse , incontinence and painful sex

Tools for working with unseen birth scars

Practical suggestions for self care.

Information about castor oil for scar healing.

This is deeper and more comprehensive scar tissue remediation that is suitable for all women and care providers.

Note- this is an introductory course based on STREAM scar tissue remediation, education and management and the work of Ellen Heed. This work is deeply based in the Wheel of Consent developed by Dr. Betty Martin.


This workshop will have a practical component. Participants are invited to engage with the practical experience within their own comfort levels. No genital touch will occur during the workshop.
