About this Event

We invite you to be a part of this special group of women in Cambridge, called WOMAN UP. Getting together every couple of months, this is an opportunity to chat and connect with like-minded business women, and to join a discussion led by one of our special guests to learn new skills.

This month, our special guest is our very own Elodie Giuge.

Elodie is a commercial and portrait photographer, specialising in headshots and personal branding. She helps camera-shy driven professionals make the shift from having an online presence that doesn't do them justice to confidently and naturally positioning themselves as the expert they are, so that they can unlock more opportunities.

THE POWER OF FIRST IMPRESSION: How to show up as the best version of you on camera

If the thought of getting on camera fills you with dread, you are not alone! We've all seen photos of ourselves looking awkward or grumpy, bad photos showing more chins than we knew we had, body postures that make no sense as soon as a camera is pointed at us.

But trust us you are a lot more photogenic than these bad photos have led you to believe.

Elodie will share her best tips for looking more relaxed, more natural, more you.

We'll talk mindset, intention, styling, posing, and angles. You'll go away with some easy changes you can make next time you step in front of a camera so that you can finally feel good when you see and share your next photos.

Please note the change of location for this event - Elodie has very kindly offered to host us at her studio: Unit 3, The Enterprise Centre, 61 Ditton Walk Cambridge CB5 8QD.

It's a 30min walk from Cambridge North station. There are a couple of parking spots just outside the unit and usually more street parking on Ditton Walk.

We'll provide drinks and nibbles and look forward to seeing you there!
