Wystawa „Wokół bliskości” podejmuje próbę opowiedzenia o bliskości, której coraz bardziej poszukujemy w dzisiejszych czasach stawiających na pierwszym miejscu indywidualizm i samorealizację, jako warunki spełnionego życia. Tymczasem to
bliskość chroni nas przed osamotnieniem i lękiem. Nasza wystawa zbiorowa łączy trzy projekty artystyczne trzech różnych osób, artystów i artystek, którzy czerpią inspirację z własnych doświadczeń i refleksji życiowej. Ich materią jest poczucie
bliskości i doświadczenie straty, a formą fotografia i przedmioty po bliskich osobach. Autorzy pokazują swoje pożegnania z tymi, którzy odeszli, a także jak kojące jest poczucie bliskości, które zyskujemy przez pielęgnowanie pamięci. Pokazują, jak budować więź oraz chronić przed zapomnieniem te cząstki własnej
biografii, które kształtują naszą tożsamość.
The exhibition “Wokół bliskości” (Around Closeness) attempts to tell a story about closeness – something we increasingly seek in today’s world, where individualism and self-fulfillment are often seen as the main conditions for a meaningful life. Yet it is closeness that protects us from loneliness and fear.
Our group exhibition brings together three artistic projects by three different artists, each drawing inspiration from their own life experiences and reflections. Their material is the sense of closeness and the experience of loss; their form –
photography and objects left behind by loved ones. The artists share their farewells to those who have passed, and reveal how comforting the sense of closeness can be when we nurture memory. They show how to build connection and protect from
