An exciting and new WMSS opportunity awaits ... a women's only overnight hike! Come and join us whether you have plenty of hiking experience or this is your first overnighter - we would love to have you! ?⛰️?We are doing a section of the Great Ocean Walk! Starting from Apollo Bay we’ll spend 3 days (& 2 nights) making our way to Cape Otway Lighthouse. This section of the Great Ocean Walk takes you along the coastline and dips inland too! We’ll walk a total of 30km over 3 days:
Day 1: Apollo Bay Visitor Centre to Elliot Ridge (10km)
Day 2: Elliot Ridge to Blanket Bay (12km)
Day 3: Blanket Bay to Cape Otway Lightstation (8.95km)

This is the perfect opportunity for all skill levels and a wonderful hike to be your first. Prior to the hike we will provide any education you need including packing lists and equipment help, food suggestions and general tips and tricks regarding overnight hiking. There will be very limited tickets to ensure an intimate group that we can support fully!

Personal expenses: Fuel, food, equipment hire as required
*Hiking equipment is available to hire from the Melbourne Uni Mountaineering club at a very low cost (eg. $20 for a tent). Such items can also be hired from equipment shops such as Bogong Equipment. We will provide links and help as needed.
