We are calling all paddlers! Join us for the West Michigan Coastal Kayakers Association's 1st Wednesday of the month paddle. This event is open to the general public.Embark on an evening of exploration as we navigate the serene waters of Reeds Lake. Led by paddle leader Rich Kipke.
Whether you're a seasoned kayaker or new to the sport, this event welcomes all skill levels. It's the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow paddlers, soak in the beauty of nature, and embrace the tranquility of the water.
Bring your kayak; it doesn't have to be a sea kayak.
We will meet at John Collins Park at 6 p.m., be on the water by 6:30 p.m., and be off by 8:15 p.m. We will gather after the paddle to talk about the adventure and share beverages and food. John Collins Park has a kayak launch and boat launch. Parking is on the street.
PFDs must be worn at all times during the paddle. We enjoy our adult beverages after the paddle, not before. These rules will be enforced.
By attending this event, you assume full responsibility for yourself and your guests' safety, equipment, and well-being during the event, including, but not limited to, loading, unloading, transporting boats and equipment.
Please mark your calendars and join us for an evening of camaraderie and exploration with the West Michigan Coastal Kayakers Association!
See you on the water!
