Beacon Hill at Eastgate is inviting community members of all ages to enjoy a lineup of local musicians and creative meals during its 8th annual Concerts on the Green series. Made possible by the Beacon Hill Foundation, the concerts begin at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month July through September on the front lawn at Beacon Hill at Eastgate, 1919 Boston St. SE. The concerts are free and open to the community.
This year’s lineup is:
July 10 – The River Rogues performing traditional jazz.
Aug. 14 – Edye Evans Hyde Trio performing a blend of pop, jazz, and blues.
Sept. 11 – John Nowak Trio performing traditional rock and alternative.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Limited on-site parking is available; carpooling is encouraged.
Beacon Hill’s food truck, The Traveling Plate, will offer a rotating menu of delicious meals and refreshments for purchase from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM. All meals prepared by The Traveling Plate are carefully curated using fresh ingredients from Beacon Hill's half-acre community garden and local purveyors.
