About this Event
Join Washtenaw My Brother’s Keeper (WMBK) for a special Black History edition of our 50 Strong Breakfast — a free monthly gathering centered on uplifting Black and Brown boys and young men through mentorship, community, and connection.
For the first time, this event will be hosted at South Pointe Scholars Charter Academy, creating a welcoming space for families, mentors, and community members to come together for meaningful conversation, inspiration, and interactive engagement.
Breakfast and all activities are completely free, and attendees will also have the opportunity to view an exhibit of the nationally acclaimed 101 Mobile Museum, curated by Dr. Khalid el-Hakim — one of the country’s most powerful traveling exhibitions of Black history.
Whether you’re attending for the first time or returning, we invite you to be part of a morning rooted in culture, leadership, and Black excellence.
