Join CLR Academy, in partnership with Washtenaw My Brother’s Keeper (WMBK), for a free youth open house experience celebrating Black history through interactive learning, culture, and community connection.
Featured Experiences Include:
- ⭐ Nationally acclaimed 101 Black History Mobile Museum curated by Dr. Khalid el-Hakim
- 🏛 Rare artifacts and powerful stories bringing Black history to life
- 📖 Storytime w/ Kalista Marie (Our Community Reads) feat. ABC’s of Black History
- 🎥 Film excerpts from Living Proof, highlighting the museum’s national impact
- 🎨 Hands-on youth activities focused on identity, leadership, and creative reflection
- 🤝 Learn how to support and/or get involved with CLR Academy
- 🍎 Complimentary snacks and refreshments
