WLV Apprenticeships CPD Conference

The University of Wolverhampton is delighted to offer this fully-funded CPD conference to primary and secondary school/college teachers, IAG staff, local employers interested in apprenticeships, and anyone wanting to find out more about degree apprenticeship pathways.

The conference will begin with a delegate lunch from 12.15 and an afternoon programme of talks and workshops that will commence at 13.30.

Teachers and IAG staff will be invited to workshops hosted by senior leaders in our School of Education; our key apprenticeships contact at UCAS; members of of our inclusion and diversity team; outreach personnel from our apprenticeships growth project; and NHS recruitment staff who will advise on the apprenticeship recruitment process.

Employers will be invited to a similar set of workshops but with a definitive emphasis on how the University and employers can collaborate to ensure a bespoke learning experience resulting in apprentice success at end point assessment. We will also provide information for new hiring employers on the benefits of hiring an apprentice/upskilling existing staff.
