Always themed, "TAKE THE OFFENSIVE!," WLN's conferences provide attendees with the skills, information, and inspiration needed to be politically successful where you live at every level!
WLN's 16th Annual Conference will be held at 9 am on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 at the Holiday Inn Portland Columbia Riverfront hotel, located at 909 N Hayden Island Drive in Portland. Your admission includes access to all events, a conference badge, a great buffet lunch, and an attendee packet loaded with useful information!
A free ice-breaker reception at the conference hotel will take place at 7 pm on January 30th at the conference hotel with hot appetizers, live music, and a no-host bar where you can mix with trainers, featured speakers, and fellow activists!
There will be 20 breakout sessions during the conference led by experts in their fields, organized along four tracks of instruction (you can mix and match). They include:
1) Running Winning Campaigns in 2026
2) Governing Once Elected or Appointed to Local Office
3) Becoming an Effective Citizen Activist and Lobbyist
4) Overcoming Hazards and Challenges in Politics
There will also be three assemblies during the day where national-caliber speakers will fire you up and provide important information to use in the coming year. Planned in-person speakers currently include Economist and Fox News Contributor Stephen Moore, WLN Executive Director, OGEC commissioner, and former candidate for Oregon governor, Richard P.
