Speaker: Chitra Mahadevan
In her early 20s, Chitra suffered a severe spine injury that left her on complete bed rest for nearly two years. During this time, she explored various treatments, including allopathy with physiotherapy, homeopathy, and ayurveda, but progress was slow. Finally, after eight years of enduring limitations, she turned to yoga. Remarkably, on just the eighth day of practice, she was able to sit on the ground—something that had been impossible until then.
This transformative experience ignited her deep passion for yoga. Today, her primary focus is on pranayamas and meditation, and she is actively pursuing yoga therapy to support and guide others on their journey to healing and wellness.
