About this Event
The Autistic Women's Club X Moonlight and Rosewood Collaboration
How do you show up for yourself? Do you know how important self care is for autistic folk? Do you know what self care really looks like? We welcome you to join us for a restoring evening focusing on how we can show up for ourselves and what we can do to truly rest when we need to, allowing you to come home to yourself.
We will be exploring how you can invite more self care into your day to day life, keeping it simple and making it adaptable to your energy levels. We will end the workshop with a reiki bath, helping you to feel grounded and loved before heading home.
*For anyone who doesn't know what reiki is or has never had a reiki session before, reiki is a form of energy healing, created by Dr Usui in Japan in the early 1900s. Reiki is a safe, gentle, hands on healing technique, which uses spiritual energy (universal life source) to help treat physical ailments - headaches, sore back or hips, period cramps etc, as well as supporting your emotional and mental wellbeing, and spiritual health, while also encouraging personal and spiritual growth. It's incredibly helpful if you have a busy mind, struggle to unwind or are looking to spend time connecting with yourself.
As this is a reiki bath this will be distance healing and hands off.
This is not about performative self care this is about building habits and routines that truly help you no matter how you show up. It's not about staying consistent, it's about knowing how to navigate the path you are on.

Meet your hosts
This series of workshops will be hosted by Abi Rose, founder of Moonlight and Rosewood. She’s been reading tarot and palms for over ten years and has had other spiritual experiences since she was a child, which led her to exploring her own spiritual path and discovering witchcraft and divination as a teen.
The workshops are also being facilitated by Becs Tridgell and Mimi Lloyd-Hopkins, founders of The Autitsic Women's Club. Both have had their own journeys with late diagnosis and looking for support that just wasn't there. This led to them joining forces to create this peer-led support group for autistic women and non-binary folk.
*Please bring a notebook and pen, and a yoga mat. You may also wish to bring a blanket and cushion, or anything to help you feel comfortable. We will be sitting on the floor for the duration of the workshop but please get in touch if this is not practical for you.
**Accessibility - please contact us if you have any accessibility requirements
***If you are pregnant or have any broken bones, please note that you will not be able to participate in the reiki bath
