About this Event
Join me as I take you on a walk through my favorite secret spot in Salem to wildcraft herbs for use in oils, charms, potions, teas, and other various magickal workings. At the end of the walk, we will gather in circle to craft an herbal product to take home.
You will learn:
- How to identify various herbs growing all around us in Salem
- New England folk magick and historical uses of the herbs used in witchcraft
- How to ethically wildcraft herbs for use in spiritual practices
- Medicinal properties of the herbs we meet along the way
- Planetary correspondences of various herbs and how to apply them in your practice
This walk is limited to 10 people and is approximately 1 mile long with some inclines. Proper clothing for the temperature and hiking should be worn.

About the instructor: Kris Gurky is a natural intuitive and magickal herbal practitioner with Lithuanian and Celtic roots. She teaches herbalism, tarot, and intuitive development workshops worldwide. She is the proprietress of Dark Moon & Co., and creatrix of the Witch City Tarot Gathering. Kris earned an M.B.A. at Boston University, an M.S. in Herbal Medicine at the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland Oregon, and completed an herbalism apprenticeship at the Boston School of Herbal Studies.
