Wise Effort or Right Effort is one of the core elements of the Eightfold Path in Buddhism. This retreat will center on cultivating balance, avoiding extremes, and skillfully applying effort within our meditation practice to foster wholesome states of mind that help us progress on the path to awakening.
This daylong retreat will consist of:
+ Seated & walking meditation practice

+ Noble silence
+ Mindful eating
+ Q&A discussion session

*This daylong retreat is facilitated by Nick Ingrisani. Iโve been practicing meditation for over 10 years, primarily in the lineages of Tibetan and Theravฤda Buddhism. This daylong retreat was developed from teachings and practices I learned from Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, in their two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program.
