In all trade industries, we constantly hear about “workforce shortage”, specifically the automotive technology industry. Instead of concerning themselves with this workforce shortage issue, Tenise and Weston Chapman decided to take matters into their own hands.
Camp DRIVE was created in 2023 to help kids discover their passion through hands on experiences. Tenise will share with attendees her passion for giving back to the community and how Camp DRIVE has kickstarted a movement in the Automotive Industry throughout the United States.

Tenise Chapman is the co-owner of Black Hills Tire with her husband, Weston and she is a driving force behind the company’s deep commitment to community. Known for her heart-forward leadership, Tenise has built a business rooted in trust, service, and genuine connection. Her passion for giving back has become a defining part of the Black Hills Tire brand, inspiring creative and meaningful ways to support the community that has supported Black Hills Tire.
Whether she’s organizing local charity drives, championing programs for families in need, or finding hands-on ways for her team to make a difference, Tenise believes that a successful business doesn’t just serve customers, it strengthens the community around it. Her innovative approach to community engagement has made Black Hills Tire not just a place to buy tires, but a respected partner in the Black Hills region.
Tenise’s dedication, authenticity, and generous spirit continue to set the tone for her shop. She leads with gratitude, gives with intention, and shows every day that community impact is not just something you talk about, it’s something you build together to make a lasting impact.
Outside of Black Hills Tire, you can find her and Weston hiking throughout the Hills with their beloved Bernadoodles, Bee & Bel.
