Warm invitation to the two-year anniversary celebration of the Wisdom Café!
Join us (invite a friend!) for an evening of reflection, exploration, and connection as we gather around this month’s profound theme: SURRENDER.
In a culture obsessed with control, prediction, and constant doing, surrender can seem like the opposite of success. Yet, what if surrender is not giving up, but giving in, to the flow of life as it is?
To surrender is to trust that we can meet what’s unfolding without tightening against it. It’s a quiet kind of bravery. A willingness to release the illusion of control and discover what’s waiting on the other side of resistance.
For this Wisdom Café, it is recommended (not essential!) to read ‘The Surrender Experiment’ by Michael Singer
Together, we’ll explore:
• How surrender relates to trust, faith, and timing
• The tension between effort and ease, will and willingness
• What happens when we stop trying to force outcomes and allow life to guide us
• How surrender can deepen relationships, health, creativity, and peace
The Wisdom Café is where lightness meets depth, and playfulness greets the profound. Through guided practices, meaningful conversations, and shared silence, we’ll gently touch that inner space that already knows how to let go.
If all goes well, it will feel like remembering… “Oh yes, I forgot how effortless life can be when I stop fighting it.”
