Wisconsin Founders' Day Celebration hosted by the Wisconsin Alumni PDX Chapter!
Celebrate Wisconsin Founders' Day with the Portland, Oregon Chapter at Steeplejack Brewing! It's an exciting opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and enjoy a keynote address by Professor Kathleen Bartzen Culver, Director of the UW–Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Center for Journalism Ethics. Our event is a networking and community building young professional and proud alumni based in Oregon. We raise money for college scholarships for Oregon high school students attending University of Wisconsin-Madison in the future.

Event starts at 6pm!
Icebreaker & Networking Session (30 min): Kick off the event by networking with fellow alumni and making new connections. Share stories, memories, and build lasting relationships with others who share your Wisconsin roots.
Keynote Speaker (1 hour): Engage in an hour-long discussion featuring Professor Kathleen Bartzen Culver, Director of the UW–Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Center for Journalism Ethics. Gain insights, ask questions, and tune into our guest's story as she explores the enduring significance of the First Amendment.
