Be part of a joyful celebration as Lynn Valley Voices and the Maple Ridge Chorus return home from an unforgettable adventure! After joining singers from around the world to perform Heather Sorenson’s Requiem at Carnegie Hall in New York, the choirs are bringing this powerful new work to their own communities in its Canadian premiere.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Frank Zieginson, audiences will be swept up in the beauty, hope, and emotion of Sorenson’s music, performed with orchestra and soloists. Alongside the Requiem, the choirs will also share festive holiday favourites, including Carol of the Bells, Dan Forrest’s See Amid the Winter Snow, and other seasonal delights. These concerts are not just milestones for the singers but heartfelt moments to share with friends, families, and local supporters who made the journey possible.
