Join watercolor artist Mary Evelyn Tucker for a peaceful and inspiring winter workshop! In this session, participants will create three separate landscapes in increasing sizes, each one designed to build confidence with color, atmosphere, and technique. The first painting will be a 3” x 3” winter warmup, a small birch tree scene that introduces soft washes and simple details. Next, participants will paint a 4” x 6” woodland mountain practice piece, focusing on misty layers, atmospheric depth, and winter evergreens. The final painting will be an 8” x 10” snowy birch tree landscape, featuring a winding path, textured birch trunks, and a calm winter forest. This workshop is perfect for beginners and returning painters who enjoy a structured, relaxing creative experience. The result is three finished winter landscapes ready to frame, gift, or display for the season!
Instruction and all materials are included in the fee of $58 per person.

Mary Evelyn Tucker has been a full-time artist since 2015, specializing in watercolor pet portraits, children's book illustration, and murals. She believes in the healing power of art, inspired by her journey of painting her beloved dog, Ava. Through Skillshare and local workshops, she enjoys sharing her techniques and helping others discover their unique artistic voice.
