About this Event
Bringing singing and breathwork together for a life-affirming wellbeing experience for women! Join award-winning opera singer and voice teacher, Louise Macdonald, at The Salisbury Centre, Edinburgh, Sunday 11th January, 2pm-3pm, (GMT) for an afternoon of music and fun in a safe, nurturing environment. This workshop is designed to help women of all singing abilities discover their unique voice and gain confidence in their vocal skills. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is for you! Come ready to sing from your heart and learn with other women who share your passion for music.
Throughout our lives our voices are changing, from childhood and teenage years right into our more mature years. Some women notice changes to their voice after childbirth or during perimenopause, menopause and beyond. This workshop will give you the foundations to a healthy way of sustaining your voice. You can then take the tools you've gained back to your choir, solo career, band or singing at home. We have created a warm, supportive community for you to gain courage to explore what your voice can do.
I look forward to welcoming you!
Here is what you'll learn during our workshops:
