Your herbal allies

Herbal medicine is probably the oldest form of medicine known. Human beings have used plants as medicine since time immemorial, and herbs are used throughout the world in order to promote health and prevent disease.

Every herb contains an abundance of chemicals, each with known actions and qualities that can be perfectly matched to the needs of our bodies. In our time together you will learn which herbs you can use safely and effectively to boost your immune system this winter.

The impact of stress on your immune system and how to reduce it.

As humans we are the wonderful result of over 200 million years of evolutionary biology. Our ancestors developed brains, nervous and hormonal systems that were hard wired for safety and connection. These are the same biological systems that we have today. Except, in our modern world, we need no longer fear the Sabre Toothed Tiger. Instead we have a myriad of modern day stressors that can have a negative effect on our wellbeing.

In our time together we will discuss the emotional and physical impact of stress on our system, and in particular how stress impacts our immune system.

You will learn how your can use breathing, meditation and mindfulness techniques to help bring your system back into balance quickly and easily.
