I do love Winter ❄️ When we move from the bright sparkles and busyness of the festive holiday to the cosiness of nights by the fire.
Winter is full of potential - the whole year ahead of us. It's a time when we reflect on the year gone by; to allow ourselves to dream and start planning but to not go too fast. It's a time to reflect and contemplate; to set new goals (but not too many!) and a time to slow down to enjoy one cosy day at a time. A time to nourish the body, mind and soul. Winter represents the most yin, inward-focussed season and a time for nourishing the soul; a perfect time for yoga.
We will open with a calming mindfulness meditation to settle in and feel grounded, followed by a gentle flow for winter mood boost. We will then take a break with some light refreshments. Then slowing down with longer-held yin and restorative postures to relax & soften and finishing with a guided relaxation leaving you refreshed.
