The volunteer preparation course starts on Monday 19 January 2026 and will run for seven weeks on Mondays as follows:

The schedule includes:
π¬ Welcome, Introduction and role
π¬ Values & attitudes; Communication
π¬ Supporting parents & meeting the needs of children
π¬ Confidentiality and diary sheets
π¬ Safeguarding children

Each volunteer will need to have completed an application form (including providing contact details to obtain two references) had an interview and provided documents for a DBS check.
