For over fifty years, Winter War has been providing a place for tabletop gaming enthusiasts to come together to express their passion in a no-frills and no distractions atmosphere. Independently managed for over thirty five years, we have endeavored to preserve and promote the very essence of the gaming community, the games. Located in Champaign-Urbana, IL, Winter War provides a relaxed gaming atmosphere with an almost limitless variety of gaming to be had and friends to be made. We are also dedicated to the promotion of gaming in our younger generation, offering a wide variety of kid-friendly gaming and family oriented events.Winter War is proud once again to host both Paizo Organized Play and D&D Adventurer's League! If you are a player and want to register for games, go to the WINTER WAR website and register. Player registration opens around the beginning of December.
GM registrations are open now!
If you are a GM, you need to register as an attendee and then send your schedule request to the organizer email. Requests will be fulfilled in the order they are received. You will receive a confirmation email from the organizers.
If you volunteer to GM one event, you will receive a FREE daily convention badge upon approval.
If you volunteer to GM two events, you will receive a FREE weekend convention badge upon approval.
